Terms of sale and use
These terms govern the Playwright Flow Recorder Kit website and the digital product offered by Alfred Labs, operated by Jose Gilberto Olivas Ibarra in Mexico City, Mexico. By purchasing or using the product, you agree to these terms.
Product and delivery
Playwright Flow Recorder Kit is a downloadable digital product for recording browser journeys, adding expected results, replaying captured actions, and exporting Journey JSON, Playwright drafts, or Gherkin scenarios. Delivery is electronic after payment through the checkout provider.
Chrome Web Store distribution with license activation is being prepared. Once available, the extension will install from Chrome Web Store and activate using the Lemon Squeezy license key delivered with the purchase receipt. The optional CLI companion is a separate download. The website will identify availability; preparing this edition does not mean it has already been approved or published by Google.
Prices and payment
The Individual license is USD $49 and the Team license is USD $199. Each is a one-time purchase with no subscription or automatic renewal in version 0.1. Prices may change for future purchases, but a change will not alter a completed order.
Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and processes payment, applicable taxes, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks under its buyer terms. The Individual and Team licenses are available through secure live checkouts.
License scope
An Individual license authorizes one named purchaser to install and use the complete product for that person’s own work. The original kit may not be shared with another user.
A Team license authorizes up to 10 employees or contractors working for one legal entity. The purchaser is responsible for managing authorized users. Affiliates, clients, and separate legal entities require their own license.
You may use recordings and adapted exports in projects covered by your license. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the original kit, extension, source files, templates, or substantially similar copies.
Updates and support
Your one-time purchase grants continuing use of the acquired functions. It includes new functions first published during the 12 calendar months from purchase. The inclusion period ends at the same UTC time on the anniversary of purchase; February 29 anniversaries fall on February 28 in non-leap years. A function must be published before that endpoint to be included. Expiry of this inclusion period does not disable acquired functions.
Chrome may deliver the latest extension package to every user. Access to new functions is determined by the license entitlement, independently of package updates. Security and bug fixes for acquired functions remain included while the product is maintained. No minimum number or schedule of updates, or indefinite compatibility with future browsers, is promised.
Renewal is an optional separate one-time purchase, with no automatic charge. It unlocks functions published before the renewed period ends. Renewing before expiry extends the existing endpoint by 12 calendar months; renewing after expiry starts 12 calendar months on the renewal purchase date. Use the same purchase email and plan, then apply the renewal key inside the extension. A renewal can be applied to one base license only.
An internet connection is needed for initial activation, renewal and verification of newly published functions. A signed local entitlement preserves acquired functions during temporary network or service unavailability. A confirmed full refund or disabled license can remove access on the next successful verification; recordings can still be exported. Refunding only a renewal removes that renewal's additional entitlement while preserving a valid base purchase.
Support covers reasonable installation, delivery, and product-use questions; it does not include custom implementation or consulting. These changes do not reduce the rights attached to earlier purchases.
Responsible use and limitations
The kit is an assistive workflow, not a guarantee of complete test coverage, defect-free software, regulatory compliance, or compatibility with every website. Generated Playwright and Gherkin output must be reviewed before production or CI use.
Do not record real credentials, payment-card data, customer data, secrets, or confidential information. Built-in placeholder replacement reduces common exposure but cannot identify every sensitive field.
Cross-site journeys, popups, iframes, canvas interactions, and some custom controls may require manual adjustment. The product is provided on an as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Intellectual property
Alfred Labs retains ownership of the original product and documentation. A purchase grants only the license described above and does not transfer ownership. You retain ownership of your own pre-existing content and of project-specific materials you create, subject to the restrictions on redistributing the original kit.
Refunds, termination, and applicable rights
Refund requests are governed by the published Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights. Material breach of these license terms may terminate the license after reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure when appropriate.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Mexico City, Mexico, without excluding any consumer protection or other right that cannot lawfully be waived. Any dispute should first be raised with Alfred Labs so the parties can attempt a practical resolution.
Changes to these terms
Alfred Labs may update these terms for future use or purchases. The effective date will be shown on this page. Material changes will not retroactively reduce the license rights attached to a completed order unless required by law or agreed with the buyer.
