Privacy notice
This notice explains how Alfred Labs, operated by Jose Gilberto Olivas Ibarra in Mexico City, Mexico, handles information related to this website, product support, purchases, and the Playwright Flow Recorder Kit.
Information collected on this website
This website has no Alfred Labs account system, embedded payment form, first-party analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies. If you email Alfred Labs, we receive your email address, name, message, and any information you choose to include so we can respond.
GitHub hosts this public website. GitHub may process technical service data, including IP addresses and request information, under its own privacy statement and GitHub Pages data-collection notice.
Recorder data
Recorded journeys are stored in Chrome storage on the user’s device. Alfred Labs does not operate a backend that receives recordings, page content, exported files, or browsing history, and the product has no mandatory telemetry.
A journey can contain page URLs, clicks, entered form values, selected options, element descriptions, and text chosen for expected-result checks. Optional network recording adds fetch/XHR request URLs, methods, status codes, and timing to the associated step; it does not capture request bodies or headers. These details remain on your device unless you choose to export and share them.
The extension requests access to the active HTTP or HTTPS page only when needed to record or replay a journey. Users decide when recording starts, what page is recorded, what is exported, and with whom an export is shared.
Recognizable password, email, and token-like inputs may be replaced with named placeholders, but automated redaction cannot guarantee that every secret or personal value is detected. Users must review recordings and exports before saving or sharing them.
Purchases and payment provider
When a customer uses the paid checkout, Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and collects payment, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, order, and license information under its privacy policy. Alfred Labs may receive the customer and order details needed for delivery, licensing, updates, refunds, fraud prevention, accounting, and support. Alfred Labs does not receive or store full payment-card details.
License activation and renewal
The Chrome Web Store edition sends your license key and a random installation identifier to the Alfred Labs licensing service over HTTPS for activation and periodic purchase verification. Applying a renewal also sends its license key. The service checks purchase and refund information with Lemon Squeezy. It does not receive recorded journeys, page content, browsing history, replay values, or exports.
The extension stores its license key, installation identifier, and signed entitlement in local extension storage restricted to trusted extension contexts. The service stores order and order-item identifiers, purchase dates, license identifiers, plan, refund status, and renewal associations to administer your continuing entitlement. It does not persist raw license keys or payment-card details. Network infrastructure may process IP addresses and request metadata. Removing a license from the extension deletes its local license record without deleting your journeys or the purchase records needed to administer your rights.
Use, sharing, and retention
Alfred Labs uses contact and order information only to answer requests, deliver and administer licenses, provide requested updates and support, process refunds, protect the product, keep required accounting records, and comply with law. Personal information is not sold.
Email and order records are kept only while reasonably necessary for those purposes or for legally required records, then deleted or anonymized when reasonably possible. Information may be shared with service providers such as GitHub, Google, Cloudflare, and Lemon Squeezy only as needed for hosting, email, payment, delivery, or legal compliance. Cloudflare is the selected hosting provider for the Chrome Web Store edition’s licensing service and its license records.
Choices and privacy requests
Contacting support does not automatically enroll you in marketing. You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection regarding information held directly by Alfred Labs. Some transaction, fraud-prevention, tax, or accounting records may need to be retained. Rights vary by location and applicable law.
Do not send passwords, card details, customer datasets, confidential source code, or other secrets in a support email.
Policy changes
This notice may be updated when the product, website, or service providers change. The effective date on this page will be revised when a change is published.
